Life Insurance provides financial security for the people who depend on you. Your beneficiaries will receive a lump sum payment if you pass away while employed. As an eligible non-represented or public safety employee, you are covered for Basic Life insurance at no cost to you.

Life Insurance Benefit for Non-Teamsters: 1X your Basic Annual Earnings with minimum benefit of $50,000.

Accidental Death Benefit: If death is as a result of an accident, the Beneficiary will receive an additional amount equal to your Life Insurance in force. If employee is dismembered (such as loss of sight in an eye, loss of a hand, foot, limb, hearing, speech, etc.), benefits will be paid to the employee as a percentage of the basic life amount.
