How can I remove a former spouse from my health insurance?

You can remove a former spouse by using PeopleSoft Self-Service, select Life Events. You must notify Benefits within 30 days of the effective date of your divorce at Benefits at (702) 267-1944 or MyCoHBenefits@cityofhenderson.com. 

What documents would the benefits team need?

A copy of the first and last page of your divorce decree. 

We recommend that you update your Life Insurance beneficiaries and PERS beneficiaries as well.
