First things first... Congratulations!

While you are focusing on snuggling your sweet new baby, we can help with getting your baby added to your health insurance!

If you are a Teamster employee, call Zenith American Solutions customer service at (702) 851-8286 to add your new baby and any other eligible dependents. 

Non-Represented and Public Safety Employees

What will the benefits team need from me?

Let us know when you baby has arrived. No rush, but definitely well before the 30-day mark. You can notify us via email at MyCOHBenefits@cityofhenderson.com or by phone at 702-267-1944.

We will need a copy of your baby's birth certificate (a birth confirmation can serve as a place holder).

We will need a copy of your baby's social security card.

Can I add the baby to my coverage through PeopleSoft Self-Service?

You sure can, if you are able to access your workstation from home. If you are outside of the firewall, we would be happy to enter the information into PeopleSoft on your behalf.

Is adding my baby to my health insurance time-sensitive?

Yes, your baby will automatically have coverage for the first 30 days of their life. However, it is imperative that you contact our team to add the baby to your coverage so that the baby's health insurance is not termed. No one wants that to happen.
